PhD Members Club Subscription Terms

1. PhD Members Club

The PhD Members Club is operated by PhD Fishing Pty Ltd.

The membership is a digital membership. It does not include a physical product, regular product delivery, or shipping.

2. Price and automatic renewal

Membership is available at:

• Monthly membership: $10 AUD per month
• Annual membership: $100 AUD per year

Prices include GST where applicable.

Your membership renews automatically at the selected interval until cancelled. Your nominated payment method will be charged on each renewal date.

You can cancel your membership at any time through your Shopify customer account or by contacting phdfishinglures@gmail.com

3. Founding Member price

Customers who join before 31 December 2026 at 11:59pm AEDT will receive the founding price for as long as their membership remains continuously active.

The founding prices are:

• $10 AUD per month
• $100 AUD per year

If you cancel and later rejoin, the founding price may no longer apply. You will be charged the membership price available when you rejoin.

If a payment fails, we may allow a 14-day period to update your payment details. If payment is successfully recovered during that period, your founding price will remain active. If the membership ends, the founding price is lost.

4. Membership benefits

While your membership is active, you may receive:

• 20% off eligible PhD Fishing products
• Access to selected Members Club exclusive lure colours
• Early access to selected new products, colours, restocks, and limited releases
• Selected member-only product drops, voting opportunities, prototype opportunities, updates, giveaways, "The PhD Vault" and much more.

The 20% discount does not apply to:

• The membership itself
• Gift cards
• Shipping
• Products specifically excluded by PhD Fishing
• Products already subject to a sale or other promotion, unless stated otherwise

Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another person, or combined with other discounts unless PhD Fishing expressly allows it.

Membership does not guarantee stock, access to a particular product, or availability of any specific colour or release.

5. Competitions

Competitions are separate promotions and have their own terms and conditions.

Membership does not automatically provide competition entries unless the relevant competition terms specifically state that active Members Club members receive bonus entries.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation stops future renewal charges. It does not automatically refund a membership payment that has already been processed, except where required by law or under our applicable refund policy.

Your membership benefits end when your membership ends.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Changes 

We may update membership benefits, eligible products, or pricing. We will provide reasonable notice of any price increase before it applies.

Founding prices will remain subject to the Founding Member terms above.

8. Pre-orders

 
When you purchase a pre-order, you are buying an out-of-stock or soon-to-be-available product not yet in inventory. We may collect no payment or a partial deposit at checkout, store your payment method, then fulfill and charge the full or remaining payment at a future date. 
You can cancel a partially paid pre-order order that has not yet been fulfilled. If the order has been fulfilled, then you can't cancel the order, but you can request a full or partial refund. See our returns policy for more details on returns and refunds.
